A bread making workshop for those who want to learn how to make the perfect picnic with breads to impress!
We will learn the art of a Muffaletta, originally a Sicillian sesame bread but taken by Italian immigrants to New Orleans and now seen across America’s mid West and beyond. We will all make a second dough and you will be shown how to shape and flavour them into a smoked garlic and herb butter tear-and-share, and little cheese and jalepeno (or olive) swirls.
As with all the classes at Kitchen confident, there will be coffee, sweet treats, and a light lunch with wine served while we bake off your goodies ready for you to take home.
This class is run in collaboration with a fabulous, patient and experienced baker and trained teaching chef, Clare.
