Half Term Tweens/Teens Cooking

A day of seasonal cooking, learning lots of new technique and making a full feast for lunch. They will all make something delicious to take home to share.

Aimed at a creative keen cook who wants to spend the day doing something new - with no washing up! Due to the nature of cooking and baking as a group, sometimes lunch is later than normal so it’s wise to have breakfast.

This class will involve hands-on making of beer battered fish and chips, the secrets to a crispy batter, homemade mayonnaise and tartar sauce, smashed minted peas and scandi-style cinnamon buns to take home to share. All classes include an element of knife skills and the use of food processors and machinery.

The classes are busy, social and involved, no previous experience is necessary but we ask that the tweens and teens have a good interest in cooking.
